When using 2 pairs, choose "5.1 surround", and not "Quadrophonic", since very few games or movies support the latter. Right-click on Speakers and choose Configure Speakers.The plug for 7.1 far-rear speakers tend to differ, as it rarely has its own dedicated port. Normally, it's green (Line Out) for the frontspeakers, black (Rear) for the side/rear speakers, and orange (C/Sub) for center and subwoofer.
